Weekend update
Nov. 9th, 2008 08:30 pmFor the first time in I can't recall how long (7 years maybe) I did not sleep over at the youth conference at my church. I came and hung out Friday with old friends and did a crochet workshop on Saturday and had lunch and left about 3 pm. I got to sleep in my own bed both nights. It is the end of an era but in a good way, I think. I had enough energy this weekend to take care of some much needed yard work. Leaves were raked and bagged. The invading English Ivy was trimmed back and, for the first time in a year or so, I can see the steps leading to my back porch from the garage. In addition
dergeis cut down some unwelcome trees that had sprouted up. And he also helped me bag the leaves and ivy. Without his help, I wouldn't have been able to get so much done. We got the Halloween decorations put back up in the attic and my winter clothes boxes down so that I can exchange them for the summer clothes. I'm tired and sore, but in a good way.
