Empty nest again

amg04 is off to college again but will be back next weekend. In the meantime, the Klingon will be leaving for his annual DC bicycle trip along the Allegheny Passage to DC on Tuesday night meaning I will be alone in the house on Wednesday and Thursday. WooHoo!

I expect amg04 to be back sometime next Friday and I will be leaving to visit my sister-in-law (the Klingon's sister) and nieces (and brother-in-law but he usually manages to make himself scarce --He likes to hunt and fish and he takes advantage of the fact that his wife and kids are otherwise occupied to do so.) who live in Monrovia, MD. I haven't decided what I'd like to do. My nieces always look forward to my visit and I try to plan something that I think they'll enjoy but they're not hard to please and enjoy museum/historical site visits, geocaching, and are fairly athletic. We've been to the Maryland Renaissance Festival twice in the past couple of years and, while I like it, it doesn't vary much. Plus, I can now get my ren-fest fix locally at the resurrected Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival.
