Dec. 7th, 2008 11:08 pmI'll, hopefully, have my car back Wednesday evening. After about $2,000 of work on it. No word, yet, if the estimate needed amending.
This weekend was relatively productive. We got the outside lights up with a lot less stress and no standing on a ladder than in previous years (when we've even bothered with the outside lights). Home Depot had an eleven foot telescoping pole with light clips that screwed on to the threaded end and that was enough to reach the highest points in the front of the our house.
I got the tree (artificial) up and the lights on it, inside. No decorations yet, but I think I'll be able to get to that tomorrow. The dining room tablecloth got changed along with seasonal decorations. The stockings are hung. Grocery shopping accomplished and a fair amount of laundry was done.
