Excalibur

Today I was rather wiped out by my late night last night so after the conference sessions (I am here courtesy of my work), I walked through the Luxor to the adjoining Excalibur to have dinner and wander around. There is a store there with lots of dragon stuff, various t-shirts, mugs, necklaces, glasses --wine, martini, champagne glasses with pewter-like metal dragons entwined about the glass (rather expensive) but I resisted the urge to buy something. I came close on the lavendar coffee mug that had a picture of a dragon and said "I'm dragon without my morning coffee." I have several more days to consider whether I'll wander back over and liberate one. I see that they have a Tournament of Kings jousting and dinner show which costs about $60.00. I'm not sure I'm going to spring for that (yeah, I don't think I can justify that dinner expense). One of the other places that I'm thinking of checking out is the Star Trek Experience or maybe I'll just look in the gift shop. Since I walked over to the Excalibur, I can cross the street and go to the MGM Grand. From there I can catch the monorail to the Las Vegas Hilton where the Star Trek experience is located. Yeah, I could drive but I'm not enjoying driving the busy Las Vegas Strip.
