I feel bad, it's the first election in years that I haven't voted in. For some reason I thought it was next Tuesday. I know that it has never been the second Tuesday, perhaps it's because work has been crazy. The second Tuesday is known in the Windows Sys Admins world as patch Tuesday. I guess I got it confused! LOL! Anyway, I had faith that this time, that my vote wouldn't be needed. It appears I was right. I'm afraid that I won't be doing any interesting wandering tonight. There is a conference party tonight. I don't have to go but why not? It's paid for. Anyway, I did run into an old friend from my college gaming days(I still game but she's in Maryland so it's a little far to game with her). It was great to see her --it's been quite a few years. I got to make her feel old by telling her my daughter is now a junior in college. Anyway, most of her family is living out here so she's spending time with them this week. I'll see her tomorrow and get to show her a picture of my daughter and make her feel really old again. LOL!
