Thanks! And I realized this weekend that the only copy of one of my RPG characters was on the laptop. I contacted the GM and he may have a copy.

Thanks for the thought, but aside from that, there really wasn't much else on it that wasn't recoverable (without investing some time). I had loaded all my music cds on it but hadn't transferred that to the external hard drive that I had bought for it (and still have). And all our important stuff (personal info) wasn't on it. It was mostly a convenience aside from being what I spec'd with my midnight blue cover and all. :-)
