We had really poor network performance and decided to take the now old router out of the picture and discovered that network performance greatly improved! So we decided to replace the over five years old Netgear router and Linksys switch. After spending $80 on a new network router and switch (yes, we are geeks with more computers than people in the family). Here are the results:
