adelheid_pSpent last night at a friend's small gathering. We played games --Tom Jolly's Camelot and Apples to Apples . There was a gift exchange between a few of the friends and I got gifts this year (a surprise as I wasn't expecting anything)! I got a sheepskin/wool cover for my steering wheel, a magnet (sun/moon combination) and a purplish geode hollowed out for a tealight candle and polished on one side so the flicker of the candle shows through. The sheepskin is on my steering wheel and it feels nice and fuzzy. I'm sure it will keep my hands warm in the winter or at least off the cold plastic steering wheel! I haven't had a chance yet to test the translucence of the geode candle holder but I will! Thanks to the gift givers. It was a nice surprise.
Today, I saw Night at the Museum and then went to a "resolution-free" gathering at another friend's place. Tonight I'm home and theoretically getting ready for work tomorrow. I've been off for over a week and I'll need a day or two to get back into my routine.
