Yesterday
montuos posted that she made her Sicilian Winter Salad and then set the orange peels on to candy while she ate it. This led me to google making candied orange peel. Which led me to this recipe and the realization that I had both already candied orange peel and semi-sweet chocolate chips. About 45 minutes later and I have chocolate covered orange peel. The dangerous part is that it is very hard for me not to wolf it all down. Which is why I usually buy a quarter of a pound at a time and I don't do this very often. Now, I can make my own fairly easily and for a lot less than it costs to buy it from a chocolatier.
