Hair Experiment - switching from commercial liquid shampoo to shampoo bar

I've been keeping in touch with a friend who is now using dreamwidth and she recently made the switch from commercial shampoos with variations of the chemical, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, to shampoo bars from Chagrin Valley Soap. Based on her advice and the advice of one other person who is using the same product, I ordered a few sample size bars of the soap. They arrived today (Squee!) and I'm going to try them out once my bottled commercial soap is gone (very nearly done now). I'm going to try to post the results here in case others are interested.
