This morning the phone rang while I was in the shower and it was my daughter calling from church wondering where I was. She drove down early this morning to spend the day and see her EDIT "Unofficial" boyfriend's band play at a local venue. She's driving back tomorrow. Then she'll be back next weekend for spring break. It's been an interesting day. I was planning on seeing a performance of two one act plays with a friend and discovered that, since we hadn't made reservations and there was a long waiting list, it wasn't likely we'd get into the little studio theater at Pitt to see it. So I showed her around the Cathedral of Learning. The Nationality Classrooms are kept locked except when in use as classrooms or during tours to minimize wear and tear and vandalism. We also visited the William Pitt Student Union where the first Confluence was held and where I met the Klingon so many years ago. I had a nice visit with her and came back to do some housework, etc.
