Look at what the Klingon got me (this is a picture from Amazon's website):


We open our gifts on Christmas Eve in the evening and while I was driving home from visiting my father, he came home from work and assembled it and locked the library so I wouldn't go in and discover it before it was time.
I can't tell you how long I've wanted it. YAY!

My dear daughter, amg04 got me a dragon bottle opener and a CD. She also got me an early Christmas gift of an OpenIt package opener which came in handy. I even brought it with me to the family gift exchanges where it was used a few times.

Today we went to see The Golden Compass. It was very good but I can tell that there were things they were unable to fit in the movie. I have the book but have not read it yet. I plan to do that soon.

I got "A Bit of Fry and Laurie," a 20 year old British variety series with Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie from Jim. Leslie gave me a gift certificate to Six Penn and a bunch of Belgian beer.
