Lair of the Ice Demoness

It's 68 degrees F outside right now! Today, after church, I decided that we were going to tackle our water problem. I believe that it stemmed from the jury rigged water feed to the rain barrel and the overflow spout. So, The Klingon re-designed his feed and off to the large home and garden retailer we did go. It's done and looks much more durable and wind resistant than the last solution and I'm confident that this will help stem the basement flooding. Along with our water flow supplies, I traded in our spent propane cylinder for a new one and fired up the gas grill to make sure it was still in working condition. Spurred by the balmy weather, I grabbed a bucket of water with some cleaner in it and washed down the grill and then a fresh bucket (that grill was dirty!) and washed down the resin patio furniture. Then I swept the winter debris and dried leaves off the porch. We are all ready to enjoy the back porch and I think I'll be making turkey burgers tonight on the grill! In addition the birds get to eat, as I refilled the feeders. I hope my energy holds out enough to tackle the kitchen and dining room. Since we haven't been home stuff just gets dumped on the dining room table.
Oh yeah, the cold is almost gone. Just some remaining stuffiness.
