Right By Nature mini review
Aug. 23rd, 2009 02:59 pmSince the CEO of Whole Foods has come out against what the current administration is doing concerning health care, I decided to check out Right by Nature as an alternative to shopping at Whole Foods and therefore giving the CEO more money. I am already familiar with the East End Food Co-op and will probably become a member in support of it, but I'm also often in the Strip District so Right by Nature will also be convenient. It's a bit roomier than the co-op and seems to offer more choices in many areas including produce, refrigerated and frozen items. Both are locally owned and both support local farmers so I figure I won't lose if I shop at both and give Whole Foods a pass. In addition, there is also a farmers market held on Saturdays in the Strip before noon. So, in all, I can do without Whole Foods and not support Mr. Mackey's agenda.
