Candles!

My husband is out of the house tonight. He is sensitive to candle fumes (even unscented ones) so I don't burn them when he is home which is almost all the time. So tonight all my jack o' lantern tealight holders are ablaze. I have had my turkey chili for dinner and a Moosewood brownie for dessert (made by a friend in thanks for helping her move). I can turn my music up and sing and dance about while getting my chores done. Chores: clean out the fridge, go through cabinets for food for food drive at work, collect garbage, finish up laundry, make list of stuff to get done before leaving on Sunday for Las Vegas. I'm already booked for almost all of Saturday.

Autodidact: self-taught. Basically says that I didn't learn this stuff in high school. I can't affirm or deny this. I do pick up lots of stuff on my own and I am not afraid to do research when I'm curious about a subject. I also have a very good memory for facts.

Ho Hum and Darn!

Well, I have 14 plastic bags filled with food for the food bank.
This morning I was putting away dishes and a mug fell on one of my Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival 2004 mugs (the really large tankard) and chipped it badly. I can't replace it since they closed down.
I am going to clean out the refrigerator and maybe fold laundry and go to bed.
