Weekend update
Oct. 28th, 2007 08:22 pmOur weekend began with a Friday night concert. We saw The Blue Man Group. This was my treat for The Klingon who suffers from drummer syndrome. If you've ever known a drummer, you know what I mean. We had a good time. Then I went to Soergels Orchard and split a peck of assorted apples with a friend along with eating part of her funnel cake. We even bought a little apple cider. Today, after church, The Klingon and I went to see a matinee showing of Elizabeth: The Golden Age. It was an okay movie. Oddly, the depicted demands of Elizabeth as a queen remind me of the demands of working as a female IT person. Something I may elaborate on later. We went to dinner tonight at Mad Mex because I had a postcard for a free birthday dinner at a Big Burrito restaurant. When we came home I decided to bring in the plants that I cared about because it's supposed to get down to 28 degrees F tonight and we will definitely have a hard frost from that. Apparently my dragon wing begonia has been sleeping quarters for a house wren which came in with it, unbeknownst to me -until I saw it nervously flying around my living room. We chased it into my office and The Klingon got a picture of it before he convinced it to fly out a window.
